HepCat Scholarship for
Masters of Lindy Hop & Tap

HepCat Productions is dedicated to sharing the joy of Swing dancing and honoring it's rich history in Authentic Jazz Dance. Furthering this goal we are offering scholarships to the Masters of Lindy Hop & Tap. Scholarships will be rewarded to applicants based on their interest and commitment to Lindy Hop - Swing Dance, and based on financial need.

If you would like to support this scholarship please attend our Scholarship Fundraiser at the HepCat Swing Dance on Thursday, July 17th, 2008. You can also contact Chris if you would like to donate to this Scholarship fund.


Deadlines and Scholarship Offers

The following scholarship application must be submitted no later then 1pm on Saturday July 26th. We expect to reward a number of scholarships that will cover 25% to 50% of the recipients cost to attend the event. In extreme cases, we may consider covering a greater portion, up to 100% of the cost to attend. We expect to notify the scholarship winners, through email, by Thursday July 31st. Scholarship winners must register and pay their portion of event fees no later then Tuesday August 5th, 2008.

In what ways are you involved in Lindy Hop?

Please tell us when you started dancing and briefly describe you activities in Lindy Hop (How often you take classes and workshops, go out social dancing, your involvement in performance groups, historical research, working with someone outside of classes, swing community volunteering, etc.).
